August 2008 Hi all, The exciting
news is that on the 10th of August, my radio documentary on Latin
Jazz shall be aired in Australia for the first time. Part of the
Weekend Feature on ABC Classic FM, hosted by Mairi Nicolson, Latin Jazz
follows my journey to Spain where I interview Latin Jazz artists Alain Perez,
Bobby Martinez, Pepe Rivero and Chano Dominguez. Through music,
and personal accounts I look at the history of Latin Jazz, its movement from
Cuba, the United States and Spain, and I try to uncover the question. What is
